The funding round was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/manchesterstory.com\/\">ManchesterStory<\/a>, with additional investments from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theartemisfund.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Artemis Fund<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sixthirty.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SixThirty Ventures<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/h-l.vc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">H\/L Ventures<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/clearstone.vc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clearstone Capital<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lateralcapital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lateral Capital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2016, CNote has been developing technology to unlock access to investments in racial equity, economic justice and gender equity and help close the wealth gap in underserved communities across America.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis investment is particularly timely, as CNote works to match growing investor demand for impact investments with increased capital needs from our community partners,\u201d <\/em>said CNote CEO Catherine Berman. <em>\u201cOur partners, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), are leading the economic response and recovery efforts for underserved communities impacted by the pandemic and our technology can help speed the flow of capital into these communities to support a faster recovery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1622053269469-0' class=\"ad-float-left\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1622053269469-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>CNote empowers investors to directly align their values with their investments through innovative cash and fixed income offerings.
